Faster charging and 2x longer lifetime than normal battery
The innovative BP-FLX75 battery uses Olivine – Lithium Iron Phosphate – instead of conventional Lithium Ion cathodes. The result is a substantial increase in charge-discharge cycles compared to previous Sony batteries – effectively doubling the battery’s lifespan. It also takes only 65 minutes to be fully charged with the BC-L90 and BC-L70A fast battery charger while still being compatible with older Sony chargers.

Get back into action faster with high speed charging
Sony’s BC-L90 and BC-L70A high speed battery chargers enable the quickest charging times, just 65 minutes to be fully charged to 75Wh capacity.
Backwards compatibility
BP-FLX75 can also be charged with normal charging times by standard Sony battery chargers.
BC-L70, BC-L160, BC-L500 and AC-DN10 are fully supported, although please note they can only charge battery pack to 95%.
V-mount mechanism compatible with wide range of Sony camcorders
The BP-FLX75 has the same dimensions as the BP-GL95A battery pack; its durable V-mount mechanism provides high compatibility with a variety of Sony professional camcorders, such as the PXW-X500, PXW-X400 and PXW-Z450, as well as some portable VTRs and video monitors.
